Medicare
Nearly everyone age 65 and older is eligible for and covered by Medicare. Some younger people with disabilities or End-Stage Renal Disease (permanent kidney failure) are also eligible. Medicare pays for much of their health care, but not all.

Medicare Supplement Insurance — There are 12 standardized Medicare Supplemental insurance plans — A through L — also called Medigap plans. Each plan has different benefits.
